Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of China Section, AOAC INTERNATIONAL, we would like to cordially invite you to attend the China Section meeting, Symposium on advanced techniques of food safety detection and AOAC SPIFAN withChinainvolvement. This meeting will be held on April 23-24, 2015 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province,China.

The purpose of the meeting is to exchange the advanced techniques in the food safety detection field and compare the AOAC methods and GB methods in food analysis, especially in those important products like meat, wine, dairy and honey products’ analysis, to know more about AOAC SPIFAN (International Stakeholder Panel on Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals) with China involvement. We hope this symposium will help you to learn about latest techniques in food and dairy products analysis worldwide and be aware of latest progress of AOAC methods and national standards. The details of the meeting are as follows:

III. What’s in the meeting?

1.     Advanced techniques of determination of chemical contaminants residues in food, including pesticide residues, veterinary medicine residues, heavy metal residues, illegal food additives and mycotoxins;

2. Determination of nutrients and dietary supplements;

3. Identification of food adulteration and food traceability;

4. Microbial detection technology.

5. Update of AOAC SPIFAN projects andChinainvolvement.

6. The detection of genetically modified food and allergens.
