Symposium on new analytical challenges and solutions in China


and AOAC SPIFAN with China involvement










Dear colleagues and friends,





On behalf of China Section, AOAC INTERNATIONAL, we would like to cordially invite you to attend the China Section meeting, Symposium on new analytical challenges and solutions in China and AOAC SPIFAN with China involvement. This meeting will be held on May 29-30, 2014 in Crown Plaza Hotel, No.1 Xixin Road West Gaoxin District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.





The purpose of the meeting is to solve the new analytical challenges based on scientific solutions and compare the AOAC methods and GB methods in food analysis, especially in those important products like meat, dairy and honey products’ analysis, to know more about AOAC SPIFAN (International Stakeholder Panel on Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals) with China involvement, and know more about the validation procedure of AOAC Official method. We hope this symposium will help you to learn about latest techniques in food and dairy products analysis worldwide and be aware of latest progress of AOAC methods and national standards. The details of the meeting are as follows:

Meeting: May 29-30, 2014. Registration: May 28.

Crown Plaza Hotel, No.1 Xixin Road West Gaoxin District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, P. R. China

III. What’s in the meeting?

1.      Challenges from determination of chemical contaminants residues in food, including pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, heavy metal residues, illegal food additives and mycotoxins; Challenges from food toxicological detection; Challenges from nutrients determination and dietary supplements; Challenges from identification of food adulteration and food traceability; Microbial detection technology.

2.      Update of AOAC SPIFAN projects.

3.      Validation procedure of AOAC methods.
